Carissa and Casey celebrated with close friends and family on August 19, 2017.
Their ceremony was in the large Garden pavilion followed by the cocktail hour in the upper koi pond wooden area where the professional staff at Gables tray passed -tomato & mozzarella skewers, fried mac & cheese bites, chicken satay and we can’t forget the grilled cheese sandwiches which have a special meaning for these two love birds. The guests slowly moved back to the pavilion garden for the reception. The garden was transformed with Fruitwood chavari chairs, lilac napkins, vintage chair sets and flowers filled with fresh rosemary and mint from Forte Floral Artistry.
Casey and Carissa hosted a bar their family and friends are sure to remember. Although the entire bar was open the special signature cocktails they created were:
4oz. lemonade, 1/2-3/4oz. lavender simple syrup (depending on how sweet your lemonade is), 2 oz. vodka, mint leaves,
fill with club soda, ice & served in
1.5 oz Vodka, ½ cup ginger beer, lime wedge (served in a cooper mug)
1.5oz Stroh Jagertee, ½ cup coke (or pepsi), squeeze of lime
Chef Alfred Popp created a splendid array of -Cedar Plank Salmon, Chicken Roulade, and melt in you mouth Braised Short Ribs. This couple thought of every last detail including hand made guest favors! Thanks to Powers Photography we are able to share some of these memories.
